On the road there are some parts that we need to know. There is traffic lights to tell the cars when to stop or go. The colours that are on the traffic lights are red orange and green. Now I am going to talk about the centre lines. Centre lines help cars split up so we don't crash. Centre lines also help cars to turn. Now I am going to talk about the footpath.footpath are there for pedestrians to walk on. If you go somewhere you can walk on the footpath. Now I am going to talk about the grass verge. The grass verge is on the side of the footpath. The grass verge is there so it looks pretty. Now I am going to talk about the yellow lines. If you see a yellow line you can't park there.

It is very important for the kids to learn how to keep themselves safe on the road. Each time when walking back home from the school, Gina always walking on the footpath side.
